Malcolm McDowell Woods is an editor and journalist, a communications professional and a university lecturer. Scottish by birth and Northern Irish by ancestry, resides in Wisconsin with his partner, Nicki, and their dogs, Neville and Molly. He co-authored the book, Irish Wit and Wisdom, and was co-founder and managing editor of the late Irish American Post magazine. What the Tide Leaves Behind is his first novel.
